U.S., director of builder development
Builder development, furniture refurbisher, charity champion
I have recently taken on a new opportunity as the director of builder development for our Residential Professional division. Previously, I was the director of sales for the Southwest ResPro region focusing on distribution management and regional/local builder development. My previous role focused on leading our residential account managers as we generated profitable revenue growth working towards our annual operating plan as well as our contributing operating income percentage goals. I have been with Allegion for 11 years.
On a personal level, I enjoy spending time with my two children, 4-year-old daughter and 2-year-old son. They keep me extremely busy in the evening and on weekends. I also enjoy going to the gym 3-4 times a week as well as watching my Texas A&M Aggies play every Saturday in the fall. I am a huge college football fan. I also enjoy refurbishing old, solid wood furniture. I have several projects waiting on me as we speak.
Because I am located remotely on the Sales side, it has been difficult to participate in Allegion sponsored volunteer events recently. When I was living and working in Carmel, I participated in a local housing philanthropy event every year as well as other charity events like volunteering cooking/feeding patients and families at a children's hospital in downtown Indianapolis. I also took part in a U.S. physical endurance test last year in San Francisco which was a fantastic experience.
For those that know me, I am about as big of an open book as you will find. Some may not know that I lived and worked in the Carmel office for over 3 years on the Brand and Channel Marketing side.
